Remembrance Day

Picture

When:  November 11th each year
Where:  Town Hall
87 Broadway Ave., Orangeville, ON

Picture
The Knights of Columbus participate annually in the Town of Orangeville's Remembrance Day ceremony at our local Cenotaph.   We will be doing so again this year to honour the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and the citizens of the world.  This year we hope to have members of the 4th Degree present to lay our wreath. We encourage everyone to come out to participate in this solemn and very important event.

In addition to being present each and every year we keep in our prayers our brothers and sisters that are on active duty that they come home safe.  We pray for their families who go through each day worrying. We also pray for the souls of those who have given their lives for our freedom.
We pray:
"Lord, hold our soldiers in your loving hands.  Protect them as they protect us.  Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us.  Provide eternal loving rest to the souls of those that made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may live in peace."
